In essence, if the Treasury goes bust, the Fed get nothing....a bit like the bank depositors....except recent history shows us that those same depositors/creditors keep on being guaranteed their money back, via a Treasury bail out....or is it a Fed bail out??
All sounds like a round robin to me.........
