I understand what you are saying however the gold price has never taken any notice of supply and demand statistics. Gold goes up and down purely based on global unrest , global debt levels and the risk of collapsing economies, war, inflation etc.
Where does paper gold fit into this as well?? I think we will all agree that no-one understands Gold.
