As depressing as that downward trend seems ( and I'm also kicking myself for not trading out when the opportunity was ripe) we are surely in a better position now than before the 2016 exuberance.
In fact all the goldies I hold appear to be in better positions (regards debt, mine life and efficiency, etc) now even though it is not reflected in the share price. Once the funk has cleared from the PM market I imagine the runs the goldies go on will be more impressive than the 2016 one.
