If people are prepared to put in the necessary effort for day trading, good luck to them.they are up against high frequency trading algorithms and insider knowledge. the big end of town has the advantage. I am one of those who recognises that the US Fed printing dollars out of thin air to fund the US Treasury is a Ponzi scheme, and as such, will eventually fail. Every dollar borrowed by the US Treasury from the "Fed" is a DEBT dollar which eventually has to be paid back with interest, and the US taxpayers who are on the hook for it. The $29 trillion owed is now an unpayable sum, so government default is a certainty, even if the time for it is unknown. When default happens, the USD will be toilet paper, and it will take the Auzzie $ with it and all other currencies, because they are all backed only by faith in governments to honour their purchasing power. So this is a defining macro trend.
