This is one of the reasons why the "States" are in so much financial shite. Anyone with half a brain can tell "shorting" of any kind in the financial markets is a ridiculous concept and IMHO, only the "States" would think up such a concept. They have financialised their markets to such an extent now, the only way out for them is downwards. Common sense tells me creating $$$ without some sort of real associated economic activity is an eventual recipe for disaster.
If you took the $$$ created out of the MIC out of the equation in the US...what would be left?
