There are many reasons a market can surge.
there are many reasons a chinese person for example may be happy to buy bitcoin right now.. just as they are happy to buy over valued sydney property...
but as its an electronic money, it can be shut off from your access at any time. that's why i would not buy into it.
if you don't hold it in your hand. chances are its just digits on a screen or a bit of paper.
then again i am more cynical than most
