Overnight AEST gold broke through 1288 on receipt of the very poor inflation figures from the US that suggested a pretty anaemic 'recovery'. It reached a high of 1291.62.
The North Korea issue had taken Gold from 1256 to 1288 this week. But there is underlying strength here as well soon, with strong support in the 1250s.
DXY up and down between 93.50 and 93.
Crucially UJ broken the 109 mark which was significant long term support then struggled back over that mark.
If North Korea settles down next week (and here's hoping it does) we could see a drop back to 1250s somewhat similar to the drop after the Syrian missile strike by the US earlier in the year.
