Nothing wrong with being aware of world events and what economic policies, etc. Every aspiring investor and me included should try to absorb the details but when posters try to pull in biblical 7 year Schmitah or shouting about market crashes etc, then these are just scared money finding historical experiences. There is a difference being paranoid and realistic.
Some here does not even trust their Govt if things go bad and that scared emotive Confiscation appears. If it comes to that, then you know your $$ is worth ZERO. Might as well prepare for CCY reset? Or believe that Feds are deliberately junking their CCY in order to pay their bond holders useless USD and reset with the current speculation of SDR as their new CCY.
I have been told many times to control the things I can control. World events and how price moves is not any of them.
