I think you'll find that the plunge protection team is a figment of goldbug imagination. The theory that a bunch of guys in a room has billions or even trillions to shore up the markets is something you might find on a David Icke website.

Pretty sure the meltdown won't be happening here. It's hard to find people who want work they're all so busy, thousands of houses and factories are under construction, business is booming. Thousands of apartments are under construction downtown. A guy today was advertising for employees on the back of his truck they're so desperate. Motorways, railways, airports, airlines, tourism, construction, beef prices, I've never seen a boom like it in my lifetime.
Only goldbugs fret about US debt, no one else gives a toss, it's under control, the USA is a $17.5 trillion economy, no problem. It's increasing yearly too.
