Well that as a weird night on US trading. DXY drops to 93.25 but we did not get the usual correlated gold move up. Now AEST 8.30am DXY looks bullish with a MACD cross on the 1 hour. In terms of currency moves both the EUR and AUD, which often strengthen with gold, were flat. UJ recovered from near 112 and firmed up to almost 112.500.
Silver up almost 1%. JNUG down almost 4% But a stock like NCM on the NYSE was up 4% so go figure that. Bond yields eased so that is typically good for gold. But that to me (and this ain't worth much) looks like a very uncertain market with no clear direction at this point.
