I agree with your comments on Mr. Trumps understanding of financial market.
I would go a step further and say perhaps all those smart PHD holder down at the privately held FED don’t have the understanding they claim about the markets. Some people here think it’s a matter of adjusting a few levers to keep things running smoothly.
If this was the case, then we would not have ever seen the financial collapse and the 2008 GFC and ten years later the floundering continuing with all their emergency measures. After all is this not the very function of the FED.
As for Mr. Trump calling for an audit of the FED, I think it’s a terrific idea; however, perhaps he would be wise to stay out of open cars in Dallas or other major US cities!
