This guy talks a lot but doesn't present any facts to back up his statements. Sure rental car companies woke up to the fact they don't pay for fuel in an ICE car and have a lot more cheaper choices than an EV. Nothing really to do with quality, performance or environmental responsibility. Rental companies also ditch the cars after a short period before the ICE car expenses really kick in.
Another point that keeps getting overlooked is home batteries- current pricing gives a 5 to 6 year payback. Installers are going flat out with a big increase in demand.
