ALB are not intentionally a lithium company. It was started by a group of lawyers and accountants with the sole purpose of buying and selling companies to pay a dividend. They "stumbled" upon lithium assets when they bought Rockwood, the timing was extremely lucky. Not long after they bought the first of the lithium highs made them a fortune.
