What I don't understand is why so many people want EVs to disappear. (Unless they are invested in FF or are short).

I don't tell people what kind of car to buy - personally I think sports cars are stupid (even though I had one when I was young, and it ruined my knee to get in or out), and large SUVs are stupid too unless you have 3 kids or more.

Also I would ban large cars and utes from parking at shopping centres - parking spots are too narrow.

But I am not asking for them to die. People can choose whatever they want, and whatever suits them.

I remember one motoring writer reviewing a small (ICE) car marked it down because it was "too small'. What an idiotic thing to say. Anybody that intends to buy that car would sit in it and decide for themselves whether it is big enough - no need for the reviewer to say it is "too" small, or mark it down. Sort of like knocking Nike for making size 7 shoes for men because they are too small for me.

So, these reviewers who complain about EVs have an axe to grind, and consequently are biased.

I remember once a famous wine taster tasted some white wine, gave it a very high score and then spat it out. Later he tasted a red wine, gave it a low score, but drank it. Someone commented why he did that - he said he simply judged the wine for the quality, but personally he prefers red wine!
