Been on holidays in beautiful thailand for 2weeks and cut off from the internet world (purposefully). And find that hc sdl forum has become a slugging match. Lol, wth is going on?
Anyway, looks good that sdl is up 40+% since 2weeks ago. Definitely looks like the chinese dragon is fearful of losing this asset. Hope we hear more news soon in regards to jv/hanlong bid/potential takeovers, looking to be an interesting next couple of weeks.
I also spoke with a colleague of mine today who is in our resources and materials dept about his views on the take over, and he believes we should expect a higher offer soon. So fingers crossed!!!
P.s can anybody confirm this xstrata rumour? Or is it street talk with no substance.
