Just turned the news on and heard that there is speculation that the Royal Commissioner appointed to conduct the Royal commission into child detention in the NT is about to announce he will stand down before he has even begun.
If that turns out to be the case its another example of announcements on the run by the govt which then ultimately fall in a heap.
Apparently an announcement is to be made by the anointed Royal Commissioner shortly.
