Think the low volumes are are a function of low# shares on issue and perhaps tightly held.
For example here are the Canadians close to Production
Flinders this year shares on issue 46 mil [approx]
Focus late 2015 107mil
Mason late 2015 85mil
Northern 'soonish 2/3 years 49mil
now these would have placement outed for drilling costs etc,have JORC complaint Resources etc yet are nowhere near as diluted as say TON at near 300mil shares on issue and rising.
Now 2 ASXers are close to production VXL end 2014 with 134 mil on issue and TLG 2015 with 139m on issue,one would have to look at volume traded daily on these as comparison to the Canadians.
So=V= Turnover is affected by Shares On Issue and Free Float perhaps more so than by trader 'interest'.
