I fully agree... The newly elected Greece government wants to convert the existing debts with the ECB into a Zero-coupon perpetual bond.. They may pay back this debt whenever they can afford it. say after 58 years ?. Haha
Very soon the Italy, Spain, Portugal would want to do the same to write off short terms national debts using ZCP bonds. It looks like the ECB will have to build a few fully automated money printing factories on recycle papers..
Just ask yourself a question. Would you refer to buy gold and keep in the safe vault or hold Euro bonds ?
