It appears that Greece has called money in from local councils, and various departments to make the latest payments 750 million pounds for interest payments
So the next lot of money to find is to pay their own staff now now it seems all the funds are gone?
Deadlines, deadlines...
• 15 May: Greece has to roll over €1.4bn worth of maturing 3-month Treasury bills
• End of May: the country needs to find about €2.5bn to pay salaries and pensions
• June: €1.5bn debt interest payment to IMF
• 30 June: The €240bn bailout agreement between the eurozone and Greece officially expires
• June and July: €6.7bn due to be repaid to the European Central Bank
The bonds may or may not roll over , some may be payouts
End of May -- salaries & pensions
So a test of will -- at this stage it appears that Brussels is losing the fight regardless of all the rhetoric that they have been displaying.
Greece have said that they will hold a referendum re leaving the EU if Brussels will not come to the party
