Greens rescue govt debacle on backpacker tax

Well what do you know.

Who turned out the farmers best friend?

The GREENS lol.

They will pass the back packer legislation that sets the tax rate at 15%

The govt started at 32% then down to 19% and then down to 15%

and it looked like a stalemate and for political reasons the govt was going to let the

horticulturists and farms in the lurch.

The Greens are the hero’s as they have basically saved the farmers seasonal crops by coming

to the party and agreeing to the 15% rate.

Who would have thought lol.

The righties will be confused lol.

Thank you Greens for thinking of Australia’s fruit and horticultural industry.
