There was a funny exchange at the FWA inquiry with the book-keeper.
Thompson had claimed (under pressure) that when he withdrew round numbers like $500 or $600 for lunches he topped up if the bill was more and refunded cash if the bill was under (nice lunches either way)
The book-keeper was asked what was the procedure to deal with refunded cash when Thommo had drawn more than was needed for a particular lunch.
Her initial response was "Pardon?"
She later explained that she had no such procedure in place.
