Looks like a boom day for Amity if the pre-open bids pan out. There are 25 bids for a total of 140,000 shares at or higher than yesterdays close of 73 with the highest bid at 79. Eleven bids are at 73 withe the remainder ranging from 74 to 79. On the sell side there are 5 sellers at 74 or less offering 40,000.
I've never seen so many bids above the previous close before and when the odd one does show up they tend to disappear just before opening and are not worthy of comment. This looks very different and I reclon we should be in for a bit of excitement today.
