a fair point, it's a hard one to balance and that's why I don't think the market knows how to react.
its difficult for the market to think that way that these prices are beneficial long term.
i would say if these prices hold around 75-80 then that's ideal. Higher and other producers can afford to compete and lower and bhp's profits are dropping drastically. It's finely balanced right now.
