    No better way of describing a crash really, though it is good though that the media does still show some respect in that it doesn't generally show pictures of the lifeless bodies as they lay, or if there are any in view they are obscured. There usually are "uncensored" pictures that will pop up somewhere if you care to look for them though...
    It is the risk we all take when we travel in a machine, whether it flys, floats or runs on bitumen, our number just might come up...

    As a parent and grandfather I too can imagine what it must be like for those closely related...the Grandparents who were taking their Grand kids home while the parents stayed back to holiday for a little longer...good decision / bad decision, depends on your point of view.

    We all view life differently, for many such loss of lives is far removed and distant and does not have any effect on day to day, for others they feel the loss of life as tragic and inhumane it can have an effect on their day to day...

    The term sh1t happens is probably apt in some ways, just as Tony Abbott described the loss of the servicemans life a couple of years ago and then was hung drawn and quartered for being "insensitive". Life for the rest of us goes on...
