perhaps ----------- my guess is that the actual age group who would be in the trenches and do the actual leaping out -
might not be so keen
and the 'keen' ones - who 'won't be in any trenches or leaping out' ----------- don't understand something basic
and that is that ---------- times have changed
this is NOT like it was in the Vietnam era ------------- there was zero chance of Vietnam sending a missile to Townsville barracks or Brisbane -------------- not possible.
These days --------- oooopsie, different era. So our distance, our remoteness, our - bloody long way mate
isn't as it was - there are missiles which go all around the world now - and Oz - well, lets say that thanks to the modern era ------ targets are very well known and have no protection whatsoever
We all should take a close interest in American politics and American movements in the Pacific - particularly where they 'involve' themselves with our neighbours and trading partners -
because America loves to pick fights - and it's got one mate down south - in the big sandy place - Oz
which it would more than happily - lock out when the wolves are about -- it's got a grand history of leaving behind a lot of rubble and smoke and going home and not giving a damm - until next time
