Because as we both know, there are loopholes in the Australian Tax Law which you could drive a truck through and there is no motivation to fix them. So there is literal compliance with the law, but no compliance with the spirit or intent of the law (which is not binding).
It's far easier to campaign to make welfare recipients' lives a misery. Twisted logic.
