Fox Resources increases nickel copper inventory, boosts Radio Hill prospects

A 26.9% jump in the contained nickel inventory and a 23.5% rise in copper inventory at Sholl A1 and B1 deposits at Radio Hill in Western Australia should assist Fox to develop a heap leaching operation with a longer mine life at Radio Hill using nickel and copper resources from Sholl and Radio Hill deposits.

Sholl A1 and B1 deposits are located approximately 10km NE of Radio Hill.

Sholl A1 and B1 have an inferred resource estimates of 3.17 million tonnes:

- 1.30Mt at 0.47% Ni and 0.64% Cu; and
- 1.87Mt at 0.43% Ni and 0.49% Cu

Radio Hill nickel mine (WA): Fox Resources Ltd reported that remaining Indicated and Inferred Resources of palladium amounted to 1.275 Mt at 0.493 g/t. In mid-2010, the company announced updated Indicated and Inferred Resources of 4.22 Mt at 0.65% Ni and 0.76% Cu for its Radio Hill mine. An Indicated and Inferred Resource of 5.78 Mt at 0.54% Ni and 0.67% Cu was reported also for the nearby Sholl B2 deposit, but no details were given for palladium content. The mine is on care and maintenance while the company is investigating options for heap leaching nickel and copper. On 15 November 2011, the company announced it had signed a non-binding Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Jiangxi Jiangli Sci-Tech Co. Ltd regarding the development of the Radio Hill and Sholl nickel-copper bacterial heap leaching project in the Pilbara region of WA. On 20 July 2012, Fox Resources reported that the MOU with Jianghi Jiangli had been suspended because of continuing low commodity prices for nickel and copper⁸.
