Don't worry Catgut. The days of the EU as we know it are numbered ..... very numbered given the lead 5 Stars currently has in the Italian polls.
One thing nobody is counting on is a recovery in oil prices when the Syrian conflict is eventually resolved. That will put Russia back into the black (financially) , and I suspect this would be an upmost thought in Putin's mind.
