Yes if the same logic is then empowers Kiwis to marry their sheep or lonely goatherds to marry their goats.

The purpose of marriage was to propagate....the definition of which is :"breed specimens of (a plant or animal) by natural processes from the parent stock."
If one was to wisely insist on the sterilisation of a brother and sister desiring marriage......then those entering into a gay marriage should also be denied children.
