At university I wrote an assignment on the correlation of proper sanitation and clean drinking water with living longer. Some of the poorest citizens in some the poorest countries live off less then $1.00 a day, yet can live well into their 70's and beyond. In concluding my report, I outlined how it is not necessarily the amount of food a person eats or how good that food is, but simply how clean the water is and if proper waste management is provided to combat disease and illness. You could have the cleanest, healthiest food in the world, however, without clean water and sanitation you will die very young.

If I was to recommend the one most important piece of advice that I have garnered throughout my studying life, it would be, "clean eating". Your bowel will thank you in later life.
