Surely you don't think that of the thousands of people on Hotcopper, none have investment properties because they aren't posting on the property forum?
Why then do you assume that anyone who posts on a penny stock must be gambling their life savings on it? Sure some people do, but they are just as likely to have a few grand here or there, and unless they disclose their holdings I don't see how you can make the assumption.
Chances are someone buying a lotto ticket every now and then isn't going to win anything. That doesn't make them a gambling addict.
