    If the incentives that tax payers are paying for aren’t working such as negative gearing etc then these should be scrapped and the funds used for something else

    I don’t actually think there actually is much of a shortage tbh, it’s just a shortage or affordable

    Supposedly there is 1 million vacant homes, let’s get the govt to incentivise people to sell them by taxing them if they aren’t utilised And make holiday rentals and Airbnb pay more taxes too… that will bring more stock on and reduce rent pressure and inflation
