If there is a shortage of rental properties, I believe it’s due in part to home sellers who have chosen to rent prior to re purchasing a property at a later date/year.
Who would be buying now? Some/many won’t be.
Re Boomers. They have been privileged. The COVID response was to protect Boomers. That’s privilege. Subsequent generations are paying for what Boomers have taken. And they’ll be paying the debt for generations.
A post script re Boomers and COVID. I feel Boomers were likely to have been used as pawns in a larger conspiracy. But the Boomers played along.
Ever notice a financial crisis in the US leads to Australia printing money and building school halls? 2008 comes to mind. Much like the COVID response. It’s one world, directed by a very few.
