You are a very confused individual. On the one hand you want markets to operate properly, on the other hand you want heavy intervention by the state to ensure there are no ‘losers’ (except savers).

Wiping out the reasonable return on deposits has eliminated a low risk option for many people who do not wish to pursue high risk speculative investments. Pushing too many people into the same types of investments is not good for stability or the economy. ‘Borrow and speculate’ is a disaster as a credit fuelled boom is always followed by a bust.

Yes I believe markets should operate with minimal regulation from government.
