That's the spot.
I was in Dunsborough for 4 years looking for a rural home and after having 17 acres in Tassie the bar was set high but I eventually found what I was looking for and have been very happily living between Margaret River and Dunsborough for 5 years now. The only downside is sharing during holidays but that's the life blood of the region so I accept we have to share.
A new place opened near here about a year ago, a restaurant in a 50acre rural setting. They hit the ground running and never looked back. I was told recently they are booked up for the next 5 months! They brew beer.
I'm not a big wine drinker but my neighbour, who manages vineyards, once gave me a bottle of local red that was the best red i've ever had. Maybe it was special because it was free?
