Thus far, neither of my adult son's have tattoos, earrings or piercings. Hate them with a passion and I don't understand how people feel they need to decorate themselves in order to express their individuality or freedom. They can do so with words, action, clothes and personality. But then again, I don't even bother with makeup or dying my hair. Happy to be who I am. What you see is what you get, no surprises here.
