In a catalogue of Harvey norman it states 0 deposit and 50 months interest free..on purchases over $490..
Fine print is equal payments over the 50 months...a set up charge of $2.50 and $4.95 a month account charge..
So the fees equal $250 over the term..
So if you were to borrow the $490 with interest at say 20% total cost is $716 so cheaper than the supposed interest free. Why doesnt the ACC get truth in advertising
