His comment of the last 5 years increase in US main indices is accurate. Then you are right it isn't sustainable but I'd look at a couple of more years of the same.
Naturally there will be large shocks but anyone looking for investment safety will look first at the US. Can you tell me of a more stable economy and one that's actually growing?

Incidentally I have been saying for quite a while that interest rates in Australia are on the way down. It wouldn't surprise me if we get 1% lopped off over next year.
So can you tell me what market really looks good into next year? Our stock market will probably go nutty in a chase for yield and naturally our dollar will decline. I wonder just what that will do to a declining gold price?
