Cowardice is the answer but is also simplistic.

Observe how they squabble over the use of the word "guy" while the world is polarising into warring camps.

No matter what angle you approach the treachery of the left, it will always come back to cowardice.

Never had to fight for anything except to argue how superior they are.

Does anyone have a better answer?
