If something will come out form a possible merger between ROC and BPT, and this is only my opinion and speculations here, I don't think that Santos would be a very happy camper, and would jump into the ring for a slice of the action with the Cooper projects they are holding together. A price war??
Don't forget that IMHO, BPT also own a fair slice of Drillsearch (for what it is worth,) and that IMHO would add some clout in the decision making, with the prospective tenements they do own.
Only my thoughts, but..........
