When (if?) the 375 mile extension to Rex starts to gain momentum the pressure will really go on to get the Eastern(635 mile) section finished (because the 375 mile extension is useless until the preceeding section is operational). Will we see the Eastern sections start-up date significantly advanced ? Sheesh - a pipeline from Clear Creek to Downtown New York. Contractual impediments in New Yorks gas supply aside,including who owns the intra-state pipelines already in place in New Jersey and which would be needed to carry the Rockies gas the last 55 miles, you can see a monstrous stouch between Rex and the incumbent N.E. gas suppliers developing. New Yorkers,Ive read, have long reckoned that they pay too much for their gas -who do you reckon the New York City Fathers are going to want to support?
