anything that diverts the kids, builds a sense of belonging to a group and helps to build character and impulse control, and I don't mean military style, would help enormously... but they need to be long term with certainty of funding.
but yeh a good post Wal. yes the community needs protection. and this further highlights why Govts should be doing these in enclosed environments, but not in prison conditions.
