    Now who's cynical!

A completely muslim jury? What could be the chances of that? Well nowadays, in some parts of the UK, pretty good really. Which is going to lead to some of the most difficult questions since magna carta, IMO. If British citizens called to try their peers consistently refuse to take the law into account when passing judgment because of cultural (or any other) reasons, what can be done? The jury are not bound by the law when making their decision. They can ignore the law completely, and find someone who is clearly guilty, innocent.

Are muslims allowed to be on juries? I thought all the judging sort of stuff had to be done by imams.
