Directors cannot buy or sell if they are about to issue a price sensitive announcement under the general rule but the exceptions mean they can argue it was being negotiated or was confidential etc etc. But it s bit obvious if they announce something this week. I would say nothing is going to happen for a few weeks or more. But if there is something happening for real it will leak and there will be buyers.
