Unfortunately, bacci, I do believe that most politicians would "sell your country" for a few votes.
I don't think any political party can be singled out.
Politicians are survivors. once they get a taste of the gravy train, they want to keep it. They all become populists, and start giving the punters what they want to hear.
They are all scared by the 24 hour media cycle, don't want to get on the wrong side of the "gurus" in the "Press Gallery", and have lost the moral compass to be leaders.
The minot parties such as the loonie Greens, Katter, Palmer and the so called "Independents" are worse. they sway so far in the breeze that they resemble palm trees in a Cairns cyclone.
