while the traditional left/right distinction never really existed and does not distinguish between political parties the "idealism v realism" is no better.
There is no way to sugar coat the fact that Tony Abbott is a shocking liar.
Calling it realism is not a fare distinction considering the high standards he claimed he would maintain in this regard.
