Report in today's papers stating that "most" people want migration to continue as we need them
We are inundated with polls and statements quoting "the vast majority of people " (or similar) which when you dig back into the actual poll figures are just rubbish and only are the reporters opinion, or a poll taken by a group pushing their particular political message
I looked at a poll recently which made banner headlines from a 3% sample !!!
Everyone has to DYOR into these polls and media reports because in Trump's words they are mostly fake news, the days of believing "facts" printed in the papers as being true are long since gone.
What I do is look at the source, the size of the sample and the "type" of question asked, as many questions are phrased to illicit a certain answer, then I read multiple sources from around the world to try and get a balanced view, not 100% effective but far better than reading the Australian politically correct censored news
