In for the long run

All,

There comes a time in ones life, that one must confess.
Not having too many options at the moment, this forum seems to be the best place to do it.

I believe that SDL shall produce IO and ship it internationally.
The steps that SDL has taken over the last few years are positive.
The long term shall pay off.

Having been extremely burnt by pdn, I thought that I had learnt many lessons very quickly.
The twinkle of SDL was always in the corner of my eye, watching the ups and downs.
Then bang, sell 100,000 pdn at $1.08, buy sdl at 30c hoping for a takeover to go thru at 45c.
Whoops, next mistake was to hold onto to the stock while it fell down to 6.7c.

Well, I was getting a bit down hearted by this stage.
I did mention to a friend of mine, (when I buy stock, he should short the same stock).
Having just lost $200k over 2 years (out of pure ignorance),
I decided to put all my chips on SDL.

So, over the past 3 years, I have lost my wife, one dog and my inheritance.

I then used my car as collateral to get a personal loan to buy more SDL shares.
Not looking to average down, the project just looks good.
Now the divorce comes thru, perfect, I have title over the house.

The next thing I did was to mortgage half the house for 430k.
Payed off the car loan, so I can keep that.
Used the rest to buy SDL, around 10c.
Could not quite make the top 20 shareholder list though.

This is it, my story.
SDL will allow me to retire, or I shall work until I die at my desk.

That is why I sometimes post silly stuff.
