Rubbish - any country worth its salt has a strong border, and population which identifies with it through a common culture and controls who is admitted and who is allowed to stay.
Multiculturalism is poison to any homogenous society - it is utterly destroying the "United" Kingdom.
As for Australia - it would not last a week in any serious confrontation - not just because it does not have the industrial capacity to produce the means to do so - it's population is so fragmented and has no common purpose - what would you would be fighting to defend? the only thing that would change is the middle managers - what sane person would put their life on the line to protect the current crop of useless idiots in Canberra? That's all you would be defending - there is no "Country" with a homogenous culture and common language - that's long gone.
