The long-running family dispute involving mining magnate Joseph Gutnick has led to two schools in Sydney's east run by his brother-in-law being vacated this morning.
The New South Wales Sheriff has been called in to force the Yeshiva Boys High School and Yeshiva Gedola Rabbinical College to leave their premises.
The head of the Yeshiva Organisation and the mortgagee of the school buildings, Rabbi Pinchus Feldman, has been engaged in a legal battle over a $5 million loan from his brother-in-law.
Yesterday the Yeshiva Organisation failed to have the New South Wales Supreme Court stop Mr Gutnick taking possession of the buildings.
Staff and removalists have been seen packing this morning with the Sheriff expected at the premises later today.
